Improper Shutter Installation

Our clients noticed dark stained wood while painting this apartment complex. During our inspection we recognized that there was localized deterioration below and behind the shutters due to improper installation. While decorative shutters can be very aesthetically pleasing and can add dimension to the exterior walls, this improper installation led to the failure of the exterior sheathing.
