Christopher D. Mills is the Co-Founder and President of McKinley Engineering. He has been a Civil Engineer for over 15 years, specializing in Geotechnical, Structural and Forensic Engineering. Mr. Mills obtained his Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering from the University of South Florida in Tampa. His geotechnical experience includes soil slope stability analysis, pavement analysis and design, earth embankments, shallow and deep foundations, shoring walls and tieback anchor systems, and dewatering analysis. He has performed engineering feasibility studies, distress investigations, forensic engineering investigations, and has facilitated construction monitoring programs. Mr. Mills has performed forensic investigations to determine the origin and cause of structural damages to commercial and residential buildings. He has managed over 250 subsidence investigations and has experience with preparing method and cost of documents. Mr. Mills is also retained as an expert witness performing over 1,000 inspections and more than 20 depositions regarding building failures.
